Overall I know this rig a little better now, e.g. keeping the controls on in renders casts shadows and how to get the facial rig working. I'd still really like to get a lot better at this though and I could definitely see myself doing this again in my spare time.

This is my sound file for image 2, it lasted longer than I had originally though but this came out so nice in the end! You get really intimidated by the noise and with the image animation just adds to the sound.

Story Plot 2.0: 1. The story starts off with a Stuntman Poster showing how great this guy was, then the camera then pans to a drunk stuntman at a bar. The TV then tells the story of a stuntman who has lost his job due to drinking habits, which is when we will see our stuntman. The stuntman is looking at pictures of the film set he used to work on (Which he loved ever so dear) and then takes a shot of some sort of drink. When he then looks up he then starts to hallucinate that the bar is his film set. Notes: Some things to note about this first scene is that camera descriptions are not yet put in, however the camera is going to pan by the stuntman’s glass to show his presence. Also in this sequence there is a bartender and he leaves the bar to leave the stuntman alone. 2. He dances, prances and jumps around the bar, however after a while his vision beings to turn back to reality. In a sad attempt to stay in this dream he decides to drive down to the local liquor store. He then jumps out of a window, falls though the garage ceiling, knocking him out. The camera then pans around cleverly to make it look like he has landed on his car but is really on a Piano. With him still unconscious a bottle slips out of his hand onto a button which opens the garage door, which activates some sort of Gold-Ruberg Contraption, making the Piano move and roll down the hill. This came out much better than last time, there is also no way you can really tell what made the sound but it still doesn't sound right. I love that I got it to sound so futuristic and the methods I used can be understood pretty easily, it just takes time.

Well, the Christmas period has been and gone as well as New Year. Its been about 3 weeks and now it time to start up the work train again which means many, many, many, many, many posts so lets get started!   Project 1: Sound Design Okay so for the first project we have been told we need to produce 3 x 30 second clip of sounds that we have gone and collected, altered and compiled. All inspired and representing images we have been given, we were all given three different images this time and we have to make a sound representing each (Probably some sort of ambient sound that could go in an environment.)   Image 1  The first image appears to be some sort of microscopic aquatic creature, this should be quite fun to do as I do love being inspired by alien 'esk' things as I am a little bit Sci-Fi nuts. Figure 1: 'Only God Forgives' Poster This film review will focus on the film 'Only God Forgives', a story about a man named Julian ( Ryan Gosling ) who runs a gym but also is a drug dealer. Lt Chang ( Vithaya Pansringarm ) is this counterpart to Julian, believing himself to be a god and a protector of his own. The film came out in 2013, was directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and was produced by Lene Borglum. The movie as a whole is visually stunning! The story itself is also very good. But what lets this movie down the most is the way it is paced, it very static and odd, not much can be said for the actors either, if Julian had walked at normal speed for the film, the film would have lasted 30 minutes. "The acting is equally choppy (pardon the pun). Ryan Gosling is required to show emotion in exactly two scenes, surprise in one and anger in the other, but his performance is otherwise so monotonous that his outbursts work as clunky, unwelcome, and hilarious intrus...
